| 011: Fixing it yourself? Do you sometimes tinker with this or adjust that until it's hopelessly messed up. This is the "I'll fix it myself principle." It applies to unimportant stuff but also applies to marital problems, troubles your children are having, and to other personal difficulties that inevitably come up from time-to-time. You say, "I'll fix it myself. I don't need anyone messing in my personal business." Suit yourself and tinker away. You may get lucky; but„m. Eating a little humble pie and working with someone qualified to help you isn't easy; but stubbornly trusting to luck isn't how travelers take care of themselves and their families on the high road. |

Featured Leadership Village Press PublicationsHi, Thanks for visiting The Leadership Village Library. If you are in a hurry, stopping by here is probably not a good choice for you. But if you have a while to check out what's available, I think it will be time well spent. The publications in the library are rather long and many require some serious thought and time to consider. If this is your first visit, click Stop To Consider or The Parents Lead Parenting Guide as good places to start exploring the library's offerings. If you are interested in the initiation, implementation, and management of human services programs and agencies, Ecological Human Services Management is a new addition to the library you may find useful. (If you are a student or have an academic or other professional interest in Ecological Human Services Management and want a copy of the book in MS Word format, please use my email link toward the bottom of any page of the on-line book to request a copy. I will send the URL to you where you can directly download ehsm.doc zipped for download.) The Links in the table below open additional publications from The Leadership Village Library. Each publication opens in a new window. On each page at the top and bottom of the publication content, there is a button to open the Table of Contents (TOC) for that specific publication. There is also a print button toward the top of each page to open a window displaying the publication content in a printer friendly format. You may print any page from this site for your personal use only. Under the publication's content on each page is a link you may use to send comments to me or to ask questions about the site or about the publication you are reading. I hope you enjoy the library. -- Gary Crow |
